HR Metrics
The HR department usually performs an organization’s metrics. HR measures their own activities to show how effective their function is in contributing to the organization’s bottom line.
Examples of the measurements that are used most often are number of new hires, source of hire, turnover rate, time to fill a position, cost per new hire, and separation cost when an employee leaves. Many of these measurements have been done for years.
